Teams/groups have the opportunity to not only serve at the Nest but stay overnight on-site while volunteering.

"We are most alive when we are loving and actively giving of ourselves because we were made to do these things."

Francis Chan

  • The trip costs $65/night per team member which includes lodging and meals but does NOT include airfare, transportation and any activities you plan off the property to do as a group.

  • Airfare cost depends on factors such as time of year, availability and location and ranges anywhere from $500-$800 roundtrip (arranging and paying for transportation is the responsibility of each team). We ask there to be NO arrivals on Sundays and all flights need to arrive in Montego Bay no later than 4:00 p.m.

  • We require team members to be at least 16 years old and anyone younger must be pre-approved by the on-site Directors. Parent/child trips are available for parents who would like to serve with their child between the ages of 12-16.

  • If your team is wanting to participate in a skilled work project, we ask that you bring funds to purchase the required materials needed for the project that the on-site Directors will coordinate. A typical project cost is approximately $15/per person (i.e.: a team of 16 would need to bring around $250).

  • Robin's Nest is approximately 45 minutes southwest of the Montego Bay airport. We ask that you arrange your own transportation and please let us know if you need travel company recommendations. We have an agreement with an independent travel company that is very reputable and provides a safe and comfortable air-conditioned option. They can also assist you if you decide to do a free day on the island.

  • NEW TO TEAMS - We are partnering with Managed Missions, an interactive trip management site, that will allow trip leaders to communicate important information to their teams.  By having one central location for you to manage team logistics, we hope to free you up to focus on helping your team members experience spiritual growth and healthy relationships. Details will follow once your team has confirmed dates.

  • In our Robin's Nest Mission Trip Manual you will learn more about Jamaica: what you need to do before you go, tools to help you raise support before your trip, packing lists, Nest kids/staff etiquette, team daily schedule and beach day information.
